Signature Flooring is currently seeking a Custom Textile Designer. The ideal candidate will work closely with assigned Managers, Mentors, and Trainers to develop a thorough understanding of Signature’s design guidelines, internal processes, equipment, and all product types. This role demands the use of artistic skills, design principles, and machine parameters to create technically accurate artwork based on design requests, specific instructions, or generic briefs, while maintaining acceptable lead times.

Candidate Requirements

• Four-year college degree in a related field, Textile/ Graphic Design or Fine Art and/or flooring design experience is preferred but not required. An understanding of design / color principles and concepts is required. 
• Proven artistic achievement & a broad-based design portfolio is a requirement.
• Familiarity with Computer Aided Drafting (CAD) is desired (Photoshop, Illustrator, Texcelle, etc.)
• Must show an understanding of fashion, interior and textile trends

• Ability to approach unfamiliar situations and conceptualize a range of creative and imaginative solutions with ease, using creativity skills to develop accurate design results.
