The Chef’s Grille is hiring a Dishwasher / Food Prep Cook!
Previous experience working as a dishwasher / food prep cook is essential to being successful in this role. As a Dish / Food Prep Cook, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
~ Complete all assigned food prep work.
~ Consistently prep all food items according to The Chef’s Grille procedures and standards.
~ While prepping food, portion food products prior to cooking according to standard portion sizes and recipe specifications.
~ Comply with all food safety requirements. Maintain a clean and sanitary workstation.
~ Wash pots, pans, utensils, dishes, knives, plate ware and trays.
~ Take trash and garbage to dumpster area.
~ Clean garbage cans and trash receptacles.
~ Clean back-of-the-house areas at the close of shift or business, which may include sweeping, mopping, washing / wiping down, putting things away, etc.
~ Complete side work for station and shift.
~ Assist others as needed.
~ Performs other related duties as assigned by the owner or manager-on-duty.
~ Be able to reach, bend, stoop and frequently lift up to 50 pounds.
~ Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time.

** MUST BE AVAILABLE TO WORK DAY SHIFTS.
A minimum of 1 year of experience in kitchen preparation and dishwashing. Riverside County Food Handler's Permit required.
