Job Duties:

·Oversee placement in and management of the group homes. This includes supervising the group home coordinator, and home managers, and assisting in carrying out day today activities for the group homes.

·Ensure that staffing adhere to all compliance regulations as it relates to the Home and Community Based Settings Rule and other governing standards provided by the Department of Mental Health.

·Oversee budget and expenditures for group home programs, reviewing and approving supply requisitions. This will also include overseeing people served account expenditures.

·Collaborate with Support Staff (e.g. Social worker, Psychologist, pharmacy, psychiatrist) to ensure that clinical needs of the people served are being met.

·Serve as liaison with families, Region V Department of Mental Health and other agencies, individuals, and groups as necessary.

·Other duties as assigned by the Vice President

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:

·Four- year degree from an accredited college in a Human Services related field and experience in providing services to people with ID/DD. Master’s Degree preferred.

Physical Requirements: . 

·Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally; and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects, including human body. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time. Jobs are sedentary if walking and standing are required only occasionally, and all other sedentary criteria are met.
