Premier Summer Day Camp in North Jersey seeks an awesome, fun, energetic and compassionate Registered Nurse for 8 weeks (37 days) for Summer 2024. Hours: Monday - Friday, Monday June 24th - Thursday August 15th, 8:30am - 4:15pm. We are closed Thursday and Friday, July 4th and 5th.

Join a team of several nurses to care for the varied needs of campers (ages 3-15) and staff. Must be comfortable talking with parents, in an often fast paced day seeing many campers, and able to deal with any type of situation!

Responsibilities and Duties

The nurse will work with a team to care for the medical needs of our campers and staff. The nurses will become familiar with policies and procedures of the camp, assist in preparing the nurse's office for the summer, assist in providing medical care, assist in gathering necessary paperwork and medications for trips, notify parents or emergency contacts when necessary. Nurses need to arrive by 8:30am and can leave after the campers leave, at approximately 4:15pm

Qualifications and Skills

Needs to be a Registered Nurse and have experience working with children. Also needs to be able to feel comfortable when an emergency situation arises.
