Our culinary staff has prepared meals for Presidents, Prime Ministers and Royals from around the globe. Additionally, The Club offers members and guest a robust calendar of special events and programs.
Position Description & Responsibilities:
Part-Time Front Desk Associate
Summary
The Union League Club is seeking a Part-Time Front Desk Associate to create a warm and welcoming environment for club members and guests using our facilities. Exemplary “customer service” orientation and outstanding hospitality skills are required, and smiles are mandatory.
Applicants must be reliable for a fairly set weekly schedule primarily consisting of afternoon/evening shifts. Additional shifts may be available if the candidate has the availability. The front desk is a 24/7 position and candidates may be asked to work overnight. Competitive hourly rate, commensurate with experience and qualifications, uniform provided, and staff meals while on duty.
The Front Desk Associate will report to the Director of Rooms & Member Services and work collaboratively with all team members.
Qualifications & Requirements:
In addition to the necessary, technical expertise required for this position, the individual must have a proven track record and the ability to demonstrate the following:
Education: High school diploma required
Job Tasks/Duties
Duties include, but are not limited to: welcoming members and guests, accurate check-in and check-out procedures for overnight rooms; answering and directing phone calls to the correct department; providing concierge services as requested by members and guests; merchandise; handling all reservation phone calls, emails, and online bookings. This position will also be responsible for handling all guest/building concerns and reporting any problems to appropriate departments.
