Job Title: Veterinary Assistant

Job Summary:
We are looking to hire the perfect candidate who is passionate about animals, loves to interact with their families and wants to have a career in working in the veterinary field. We are hiring for full time employees, but we are open to part time. Experience in the Veterinary field is preferred but not required. You must be able to multitask, work under pressure and work independently. Must have strong verbal and interpersonal skills.

Duties:
As a veterinary assistant you will be checking in clients, providing client education, filling prescriptions, pulling labwork and setting up samples (fecal, urine, blood). If you have surgical experience, we would love to add you on our surgical team as well! We love for folks to be cross trained so if you are interested you will also schedule appointments, answer the phones, and assist our client care team

Qualifications:
-Veterinary experience is preferred but not required.

Benefits:
You would work a 4 day work week of 10 hour days if you are full time. No weekends or emergency. Full time benefits include pet discount, paid time off, Simple IRA contribution, and a scrub allowance.
