Position Summary:

Responsibilities are the construction and modification of Electrical Substations under direct supervision. This position requires work in confined spaces and elevated work areas and works with various pieces of construction equipment specific to the trade. Techs must deal with day-to-day issues and find suitable solutions under difficult circumstances. You must have an excellent command of decision-making and problem-solving techniques and are able to apply them appropriately. You must must be able to work at various locations may and be required to travel to another state depending on customer demands.

• Must be capable of working in confined spaces/areas.
• Must be capable of learning to operate various types of heavy equipment.
• Must be capable of lifting in excess of 50 lbs.
• Must be capable of climbing and working at heights up to 125 feet above ground.
• Must be capable of working in close proximity of energized substation equipment.

Education and Experience Required:

• High School diploma or equivalent experience in related field is required.
