We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Clinical Operations Manager to oversee our clinical operations and ensure the highest standards of service.
Job Summary:
The Clinical Operations Manager will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our clinic, ensuring efficient processes, and maintaining compliance with healthcare regulations. This role requires a strategic thinker with excellent leadership skills, capable of managing a multidisciplinary team, including medical assistants, and coordinating with various stakeholders to achieve operational excellence and superior patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
-Lead and manage the clinical operations team, including medical assistants, providing direction, support, and development opportunities.
-Foster a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
-Oversee the daily operations of the clinic, ensuring efficient workflow and optimal patient care.
-Develop and manage operational budgets, ensuring cost-effective utilization of resources.
-Implement and monitor standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure consistency and quality of care.
-Maintain up-to-date knowledge of healthcare regulations and ensure clinic compliance with all relevant laws and standards.
- Implement quality control measures and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and clinic operations.
-Serve as the primary point of contact for clinical operations, liaising with healthcare providers, staff, patients, and external partners.
-Ensure effective communication and coordination among all clinic staff and departments.
-Oversee patient scheduling, flow, and satisfaction to ensure a positive patient experience.
-Address and resolve patient concerns and complaints promptly and professionally.
-Supervise and support medical assistants in their daily tasks, ensuring they provide high-quality patient care.
-Occasionally perform medical assistant tasks as required to support clinic operations.
-Facilitate training and professional development for medical assistants to enhance their skills and performance.
-Oversee the management of patient records and clinical data, ensuring data integrity and confidentiality.
-Prepare and present regular reports on clinic performance, patient outcomes, and operational metrics to senior management.
-Identify areas for improvement within clinical operations and implement best practices to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
-Stay abreast of industry trends and advancements to keep the clinic at the forefront of healthcare delivery
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, business administration, nursing, or a related field is preferred. An associate degree with substantial relevant experience will also be considered. A master’s degree or other advanced degree is a plus.
-Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in clinical operations or healthcare management, with a proven track record of managing clinic operations.
-Demonstrated experience in a leadership or managerial role.
-Experience working with and supervising medical assistants is preferred.
-Strong knowledge of healthcare regulations, clinic operations, and patient care processes.
-Excellent organizational and project management skills.
-Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
-Ability to lead and motivate a team.
-Proficiency in healthcare management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
-Competitive salary upwards of $50,000 per year, based on experience.
