RESPONSIBILITES

• MUST HAVE COOKING EXPERIENCE
• Provide quality food and beverage that will enhance the meal experience for the residents and ensures that the dining programs meet federal, state, local standards, guidelines
• Help Director of Dietary supervise functions and personnel within the dietary department which provides food and nutrition services to residents in a long term care facility
• Work together as a team to give the best care to our residents
• Get to know the residents and provide the food/drinks according to their care plan

REQUIREMENTS

• Food Service Experience
• Management Experience
• Be able to prepare meals by following recipes
• Supervise all dietary staff
• Help with the ordering of supplies and inventory
• Ability to handle multiple priorities
• Possess written and verbal skills for effective communication
• Demonstrate good judgement, problem-solving and decision-making skills

We are looking for Assistant Director of Food Service, this individual must enjoy working with the elderly and desire to provide a great food service experience to our residents! We are the McDonough County Skilled Nursing Home. We strive to provide our residents and staff with great experiences on a daily basis. A CDM license is preferred but not required.
