Responsibilities:
- Perform make-ready duties to prepare apartments for move-in, including painting, cleaning, and minor repairs.
- Conduct inspections of vacant units to identify any maintenance or repair needs.
- Complete work orders and ensure timely completion of all assigned tasks.
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical and mechanical issues as needed.
- Assist with the supervision and training of maintenance staff.
- Fabricate or modify parts as necessary to complete repairs.
- Read and interpret schematics and blueprints for equipment repairs.
- Conduct routine facilities maintenance tasks such as changing light bulbs, replacing filters, etc.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Provide excellent customer service to residents and address any concerns or issues promptly.
Requirements:
- Strong knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems.
- Proficient in English (both written and verbal communication skills).
- Leadership skills with the ability to supervise and train maintenance staff.
- Ability to fabricate or modify parts as needed for repairs.
- Experience reading and interpreting schematics and blueprints.
- Knowledge of facilities maintenance procedures.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
