Benefits :

Base compensation $55,000 to $70,000 per year with an uncapped commission structure

Qualifications :

Standard Requirements :

Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field preferred (although industry experience may be considered in lieu of degree)

Minimum of 3 years of successful outside sales experience.

Experience in corrugated or packaging sales preferred

Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.

Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

Proficiency in sales management software and tools.

Ability and willingness to travel within the assigned territory.

Must have a valid driver's license; driver background check must show a record of sustained safe driving

Responsibilities :

As an Account Representative - Outside Sales at Viking Industries, you will be a crucial component of our sales force, responsible for building and maintaining customer relationships, driving revenue growth, and promoting our top-quality packaging solutions.

Reporting directly to the Sales Manager, you will play a pivotal role in achieving individual and team sales targets.

Key Responsibilities :

Customer Engagement and Revenue Generation :

Develop and implement effective sales strategies to meet and exceed revenue targets.

Cultivate and maintain relationships with clients, addressing their packaging needs and proposing tailored solutions.

Actively prospect for new business opportunities within the designated territory.

Sales Team Collaboration :

Work closely with the Sales Manager to align sales efforts with overall company objectives.

Collaborate with internal departments (customer service, production, shipping, warehousing, and accounting) to ensure a seamless customer experience from order to delivery.

Participate in regular team meetings and contribute insights for continuous improvement.

Product Knowledge and Industry Insight :

Stay informed about corrugated industry trends, market dynamics, and competitor activities.

Utilize product knowledge to effectively communicate the value proposition to clients.

Share market insights with the Sales Manager and team to contribute to product and service enhancements.

Professional Development :

Participate in sales training programs to enhance product knowledge and sales skills.

Collaborate with the Sales Manager to set individual performance goals and development plans.
