Responsibilities:
- Provide attentive care and supervision to children in a safe and nurturing environment
- Engage children in age-appropriate activities, such as games, crafts, and educational exercises
- Maintain a clean and organized play area
- Monitor children's behavior and intervene as needed to ensure a positive and respectful environment
- Communicate effectively with parents/guardians regarding their child's day and any concerns or updates
Experience:
- Experience working with children in various settings, such as babysitting, daycare, early childhood education, sports coaching, theater, behavior management, tutoring, or childhood development
- Knowledge of child development principles and practices
- Ability to create a fun and engaging atmosphere for children while maintaining appropriate boundaries
- Strong communication skills to interact with children, parents/guardians, and other staff members
- Patience, empathy, and the ability to handle challenging situations with professionalism
