The Material Handler will be responsible for unloading product deliveries, maintaining stock in the warehouse, and moving stock and other materials to fulfill orders.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Move materials within the warehouse and manufacturing areas to support production
• Load and Unload Material onto Manufacturing Equipment the Production Floor
• Identify and label materials, and record their locations in the warehouse/on the shelves to maintain inventory
• Issue and Return Material within the ERP system to Support Inventory Accuracy
• Help maintain machine uptime by making sure Work Centers are properly stocked with materials
• Operate forklifts in accordance with Company and OSHA Guidelines
• Report and Record Inventory Variances
• Comply with all warehouse safety rules and guidelines
• Comply and exhibit behaviors consistent with 5S and Lean

Experience Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1-5 years of experience working in a warehouse setting or in logistics
• Previous experience in operating material handling equipment preferred
• Certification to ride forklift truck preferred
• Must be able to interpret blueprints and technical specifications
• Must be able to work well in a team
• Ability to read, write, and to follow instructions, and work independently with little guidance
• Ability to operate computers and relevant warehouse management computer software
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including overtime
• Analytical and numerical skills: ability to perform mathematical calculations (add, subtract, multiply, divide) in different units of measurement

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
