Watertown Municipal Utilities has a full-time opening for a Human Resources/Risk Coordinator. This full-time position is responsible for planning and directing the human resource activities of the organization, including recruitment, training, safety, payroll processing, wage and benefit administration, insurance programs, pension administration, labor relations, policy development and interpretation, drug/alcohol and workers compensation program administration and performance management. In addition, this position is responsible for maintaining records for the risk prevention program and filing claims for auto and property damage.

Three years of increasingly responsible human resource work experience, preferably in the public sector, or any combination of education, training and experience that demonstrates the ability to perform the duties of the position is required. Knowledge of state and federal labor laws and regulations and extensive knowledge and experience with Microsoft programs and payroll software also required.

Salary commensurate with experience and qualifications. Excellent benefits package, including SDRS pension, health, dental, vision and life insurance, 457 plan, paid sick leave and vacation.
