Go-Glass Joy LLC is Hiring a Business Development Representative Near Peninsula, MD

Job Summary:

Go-Glass is seeking an ambitious and experienced Business Development Representative. We have been in business for over 40 years, operating through the Delmarva Peninsula in MD, DE, and Eastern Shore of VA. This position is responsible for ensuring growth and sales, through development of business strategies, building client relationships, and identifying new business opportunities.

We are in the process of building our in-house team, so if you possess a strong work ethic and having the required skills, we would like to have you on our team.

Education and Experience:

  • Minimum of a high school diploma or GED. Bachelor’s degree in business or similar experience.
  • 3 years Sales, Business Development, &/or Marketing Experience Required (Similar industry desired).
  • 2 years B2B Experience Preferred

Essential functions:

  • Develop strategic partnerships, relationships, and alliances for company growth, maintaining an active pipeline of opportunities.
  • Identify and research potential clients and make initial contact to establish relationships.
  • Engage clients to uncover and close growth opportunities.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Operations, and other departments as needed to develop sales tools and strategies for entering target markets.
  • Represent Go-Glass at all assigned networking functions.
  • Gather useful information from customer and competitor data.
  • Make and give presentations to prospective clients and internal executives.
  • Develop and manage strategic partnerships to grow business.
  • Track and report on the status of proposal components
  • Represent the company’s products and services, using consumer research as well as deep and comprehensive knowledge of how our solutions meet the needs of prospective clients.
  • Maintain an in-depth knowledge of all Go-Glass products and services, as well as current market research and industry trends to identify profitable business opportunities for all glass divisions.
  • Achieve weekly, monthly, and annual quotas by successfully implementing strategies and tactics.
  • Generate leads and build relationships by organizing daily work schedule to call on potential customers.
  • Record and Update all business development activities and results in CRM software.
  • Represent Go-Glass in a positive manner, demonstrating respect to customers and internal team members, communicating all concerns in a professional manner.
  • Always adhere to company standards of conduct and company policies.
  • Other duties as assigned my management.

Skills & Aptitudes

  • Proven Experience in Sales, Business Development, or related field preferred
  • Proven Experience in B2B Development Strategies.
  • Demonstrated ability to build relationships quickly and work effectively across internal teams.
  • Cold-Calling and acquisition experience desired
  • Experience in High self-initiative with the ability to work well under pressure and with minimal supervision.
  • Highly motivated and willing to assume accountability for generating new business.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work in a collaborative environment.
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work.
  • Excellent learning agility with a high attention to detail.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Negotiation and Client Relationship Management skills

Work environment

  • Majority of work is completed indoors.
  • May, on occasion, be exposed to the outdoors.

Physical demands

  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position approximately 50% of the time.
  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
  • Requires daily travel.

Travel required.

  • 75%-90% (surrounding areas) Take home company branded vehicle and fuel card provided.
  • 25% Office time.

Work authorization

Must be authorized to work within the United States.
