We are seeking a facilities worker for an apartment community in the South Toledo/Maumee area.

Job Description

• Vacant unit cleaning, including dusting, mopping, scrubbing, sweeping, vacuuming, sanitizing, and trash removal.
• Paint vacant units and other areas as needed.
• Daily grounds clean-up and maintain exterior appearance of the community.
• Clean building hallways and other common areas of the property.
• Maintain mulch beds, plant and water flowers, weed removal.
• Assist with landscaping projects as needed, mowing, blowing, trimming, edging, leaf clean-up, etc.
• Assist with light maintenance as needed, changing light bulbs, filters, etc.
• Upkeep of swimming pool, check chemicals and equipment, open/close duties.
• Assist with clearing sidewalks, snow removal and salting in the winter.
• Misc. duties assigned by management.

Job Requirements

• Previous experience with cleaning and painting preferred.
• Ability to be on your feet, stoop, bend, sit, kneel, crawl, reach and carry for several hours a day. Ability to lift, push, and pull objects up to 40 lbs.
• Ability to endure outside temperatures consistently.
• Self-motivated & hard working. Ability to work independently with minimal follow up.
• Follow safety procedures while performing daily assignments.
• Preferred skills in operating small hand tools and lawn equipment. Willing to train.
• Reliable transportation and valid driver's license. EOE

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday
• Weekends as needed
