*FULL TIME* Aircraft Fueler / Ground Handler

Location: Great Falls Jet Center, Great Falls, Montana

Base Pay: $16 - $20 staring wage (DOE) with growth potential

Description: Great Falls Jet Center is hiring a full time Aircraft Fueler / Ground Handler to join our team. Primary duties include fueling and moving of aircraft, plus other duties as assigned. Experience preferred, not required. We will train the right candidate!

Duties:

• Perform fueling of all types of aircraft, hauling fuel hoses, and driving heavy machinery, while maintaining safety around all aircraft and heavy machinery.
• Directing aircraft to the proper parking area, ensuring aircraft are properly secured. Using hand signals with the pilot.
• Towing aircraft to and from secure tie-down areas or hangars. Moving aircraft into and out of hangars, using tow bars and other required equipment (may involve squatting and lifting to install tow bars).
• Ability to drive heavy equipment such as fuel trucks, snowplows, loaders, and other equipment as needed.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds or more, multiple times a day.
• Greet crew members and passengers, assisting with loading and unloading of luggage and other services as needed.
• Possess basic computer skills.
• Willing to work varied hours, including weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed in all-weather environments.
• Perform daily fuel truck inspections including performing preloading and quality control inspections. Inspections include a vertical ladder climb and a visual inspection of the top of the fuel truck.
• Perform daily and monthly fuel truck safety inspections. Ensure vehicles are in safe operating order and running properly.
• Ensure compliance with all FAA, Federal, State, local, and company safety policies and procedures.
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications: Must be at least 18 years of age.

Aviation experience preferred, but not required. We will train the right candidate.

Have a valid driver’s license with a good driving record.

Able to obtain a Great Falls Airport Security ID, which requires an FBI finger print background check.

Candidate must be available to work flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays.

Customer service experience is a plus.

Clear and legible handwriting.

Must be able to perform simple math functions.

Positive team player.

Highly motivated self-starter with demonstrated leadership qualities.

Strong emphasis on safety.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
