Job Title: Human Resources Manager
Department: Administration
Reports to: CEO/COO/Plant Manager
SUMMARY
The HR Manager is responsible for providing advice and service to the managers and staff. Accountable for the implementation of HR plans, programs, systems, processes, policies and procedures.
Collaborates with the different managers on various HR issues and provides HR subject matter expertise in the areas of selection and staffing, organization development, manpower planning and career development, training, compensation and benefits, employee engagement and federal, state and local compliance.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES to include but not limited to:
Review incoming applications and conduct interview/orientations with selected candidates.
Closely monitor employee hours and attendance to properly administer points.
Manage employee benefits alongside the CFO (Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K, Life Insurance).
Assist with payroll duties.
Track employee vacations, PLT and days off.
Properly initiate employee paperwork for FMLA, ADA, FBLA.
Create accurate job descriptions.
Maintain organization and keep up to date on new laws and regulations to maintain compliance.
Schedule annual testing and training.
Annual review of company handbook.
Complete annual OSHA 300 logs.
Demonstrate good attendance.
Perform miscellaneous job duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
To perform successfully, an individual must be able to master each essential job function satisfactorily.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
High School Diploma or GED preferred.
Previous experience is preferred but not required.
ENGLISH LANGUAGE SKILLS
Must be able to speak clearly, read, and interpret.
Bilingual in English and Spanish is preferred but not required.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Basic mathematical skills are required.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Sitting in front of a computer for long hours.
Minimal lifting is required.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
Noise levels in the work environment are slight to moderate.
