Business Analyst

Job Summary: The Business Analyst will play a key role in driving the success of our warranty and service operations. This role involves analyzing business processes, identifying areas for enhancement, and implementing solutions that align with our strategic objectives. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a deep understanding of the manufactured home industry.
Key Responsibilities:
1. IT and Business Integration:
∙ Facilitate clear and effective communication to ensure alignment of goals and expectations.
2. Requirements Gathering:
∙ Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document business requirements for new projects and initiatives.
∙ Translate business needs into detailed functional specifications for technical teams.
3. Process Improvement:
∙ Evaluate and analyze current business processes and workflows related to warranty and service operations.
∙ Identify inefficiencies and recommend actionable improvements to optimize performance and customer satisfaction.
∙ Implement process improvements and monitor their effectiveness over time.
4. Data Analysis and Reporting:
∙ Collect, analyze, and interpret data related to warranty claims, service requests, and customer feedback.
∙ Assist in building requirements for developing and maintaining detailed reports, dashboards, and visualizations to support business decision-making.
5. Project Management:
∙ Coordinate and manage project activities to ensure timely and successful completion.
∙ Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and develop mitigation strategies.
6. Market Research:
∙ Conduct research to stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market demands.
∙ Provide insights and recommendations based on market analysis to support strategic planning.
7. Training and Support:
∙ Provide training and support to business users on new processes and IT systems
∙ Develop documentation and training materials as needed.
8. Performance Monitoring:
∙ Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of business initiatives.
∙ Monitor and report on the performance of implemented solutions to ensure they meet business objectives.
Qualifications:
∙ Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Information Systems, or a related field.
∙ 3-5 years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in the manufactured home or related industry.
∙ Proficient in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SQL, PowerBI, Tableau, or similar data analytic toolsets).
∙ Strong understanding of IT Systems, business process modeling and improvement methodologies.
∙ Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
∙ Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
∙ Project management experience and familiarity with project management software (e.g., Jira, Asana).
∙ Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
∙ Experience with customer relationship management (CRM) systems.
∙ Knowledge of manufactured home systems and maintenance.
∙ Certification in Business Analysis (e.g., CBAP) or Project Management (e.g., PMP).
