Pathway Financial Education is Hiring a Financial Education Program Manager Near Kansas, MO

Position Description

The Financial Education Program Manager (FEPM) will report to the Executive Director (“ED”) of Pathway Financial Education. As directed or needed, the FEPM will plan, organize, coordinate, and modify Pathway Financial Education’s courses and programs to address the needs of Pathway’s targeted audiences: (1) small business owners, (2) adults, and (3) high school students.

The FEPM will work closely with the ED to identify professionals and subject matter experts to serve as volunteer instructors and coaches. In addition, the FEPM will identify and solicit classroom participants to optimize the training and financial educational experiences for all parties- learners, volunteers, partners, and staff. The FEPM will maintain good working relationships with community groups, affinity partners and Pathway’s referral sources.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Work with ED to select, create, revise, and modify educational materials to train and educate our learners.
  • Manage daily operations of the education and training programs, meet with partners, plan, and deliver training content, schedule workshops/webinars, conduct training sessions for volunteer trainers, coordinate program activities, and help set priorities in concert with the ED.
  • Participate in trainings and one-on-one coaching to help audience build financial capabilities, improve financial decision-making behaviors, and achieve audience’s stated financial goals.
  • Research and gather information on best practices to improve Pathway’s financial education methods and programs.
  • Conduct and coordinate audience intakes and assessments following selected metrics to prepare for scheduled classes and adapt curricula to best practices.
  • Track and compile outcome data on courses provided and prepare regular reports of attendees’ experiences and performances.
  • Perform community outreach and attend various events to market Pathway Financial Education, recruit new audience members and build community relations.
  • Manage marketing, social media, and outreach activities.
  • Assist in the preparation of grant writing and funding requests.
  • Write, edit, and coordinate development of training catalogs, promotional materials, educational materials, instructor manuals, newsletters, and/or brochures.

Maintain program records, research information, gather and compute various data, special reports, summaries, and reply to inquiries.

Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
