Responsibilities:

• Fabricate and produce product according to specifications
• Operate sewing and skiving machines and other equipment used in upholstery
• Follow patterns and instructions from spec sheets or lead
• The ability to work with upholstery glue, leather, vinyl, and wood.
• Be able to rivet and screw plated binding post with care
• Cutting with a X-ACTO knife for precision cutting
• Assemble furniture/ end product
• Inspect finished products for quality and accuracy
• Maintain a clean and organized work area

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Upholster or similar role
• 3 - 5 years experience
• Proficiency in operating sewing and skiving machines and other equipment
• Knowledge of upholstery construction techniques and materials: leather, vinyl, nylon, polyester, etc..
• Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately a must
• Strong manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Must be able to use single needle; Optional, skiving machines:

• JUKI: LU-1510N-7,DNU-241
• (OPTIONAL) TECH SEW: SK-4
