Job description

We need someone capable of being an independent Salesperson who can come in and make an immediate impact. We need someone with proven results in all aspects of green industry sales. This person needs to be able to manage customer relationships, complete/outsource their own designs, complete/outsource their own estimates, and close the sales. We are not looking for someone who needs to build experience. One of our experienced salespeople took a job as a division manager out of state and we need someone who can come in and make $200,000 in sales per month. If that's not you, please pass on this opportunity.

We have plenty of leads coming in and need to service our customers. We have one highly-skilled business owner that is constantly being tied down to take care of extremely important short-term sales tasks. This is preventing him from devoting sufficient time to the company’s long-term goals such as mentoring managers, reorganizing processes, and creating strategic partnerships. We need someone who is happy to take that off of his plate and who will fight to get designs/estimates completed quickly and get the sales closed; we're talking hours and days, not weeks and months.

The ideal candidate will be someone who doesn’t wait to be told what to do. Rather, this individual will proactively and carefully learn what needs to be done, collaborate with the relevant individuals, and then show us how to do it better. Ideally, this person can help us eliminate unnecessary and redundant processes and tasks and replace on-site processes with automated or remote labor. If you have had a positive experience with remote designers/estimators, we'd love to see how we can integrate that into our process. You must be a self-starter who thrives on creating order and process from chaos.

This individual must meet the following requirements:

· Manage time effectively to complete sales/administrative duties in a fast-paced, seasonally-intense position

· High emphasis on customer service and interpersonal relationship building

· Can operate with minimal direction to sell residential landscape designs

· Not afraid to collaborate or seek direction with various members of management and staff

· Ability to generate immediate sales

· Takes initiative for and accountability of own work

· Highly proficient with computers, specifically the Microsoft 365 suite and QuickBooks, experience with construction/landscape CRM is a major plus

Qualifications that will set you apart:

· A bachelor’s or master’s degree in landscape design

· A proven track record of success in similar environments

· Strong understanding of the sales funnel

Some specific tasks include:

· Qualifying leads based on potential job size and immediacy

· Ensuring on-time and accurate designs and estimates

· Taking before and after photos to improve marketing efforts

· Managing and tracking sales funnel

· Interacting with various professional and trade business relationships

No specific educational or technical requirements exist for this position, but please describe how your experience is directly applicable to the requirements set forth above.

Total compensation package is to be determined based on applicant's experience level and ranges from $70,000-$120,000 per year. Sales commission is uncapped. We'd love to see someone make more money than the owners from having sold so much. If you think that's you, please come do it!

We do not currently have a health/dental/vision insurance plan but are working towards making that a reality. If this job is right for you, but health insurance is a requirement, don't let that stop you; we'll figure it out together. We do have a 401(k) program with company matching, a PTO program, and additional time off given during the off season (winter).
