The successful candidate will be very meticulous, paying close attention to detail while you repair hail damage, door dings, body creases, and minor dents on a vehicle. Responsibilities – PDR Technician:
Repair ding and dent damage for customers on a mobile route or at an assigned location.
Review your work with customers, as well as walk lots, write work orders and negotiate to gain approval and build business.
Inspect vehicles on dealership lots for PDR repairs.
Maintain workload and get work out in a timely manner.
Ensure that all repair work meets the highest quality standards and that the finished product is showroom-ready.
Maintain a clean and organized work area, including the proper storage and care of tools and equipment.
Interact with customers and dealership staff in a professional and courteous manner, explaining the repair process and providing estimates as needed.
Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in paintless dent repair techniques.
Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain compliance with environmental regulations.
Perform other duties as assigned, willing to learn new skills
Qualifications/Requirements – PDR Technician:
A minimum of 1 year of experience as a PDR Technician is preferred
Must have own tools
This job requires technical skill, a quality mindset and an outgoing personality.
Knowledge of basic take apart of vehicles
Proficiency in using paintless dent repair tools and techniques.
A keen eye for detail to ensure high-quality results.
Excellent communication skills to interact with customers and build accounts
Strong work ethic, self-motivation and the ability to work independently
Toughness and grit to work outside in all kinds of weather
Physical stamina to kneel, bend and squat, as well as lift up to 50 pounds
Excellent manual dexterity for repetitive-motion tasks
Valid driver’s license and good driving record
