A great opportunity to join a stable, highly reputable professional service organization seeking to hire an Accounting Specialist. Successful candidate must possess the following:
Qualification And Experience
- Minimum 3 years working in an accounting and administrative role (preferably in a closely held business)
- Strong computer software skills with and intermediate background in Microsoft Excel and Word
- Experience working with accounting software
- Strong analytical skills, with attention to detail
- Overall administrative experience
- Excellent communication skills
- Experience in A/E/C industries preferred
- Invoice preparation
- Resolving client billing issue and collection calls
- Accounts payable processing
- Filing
- Type and file documents, produce reports and process registrations.
- Other miscellaneous duties as may be necessary
- Assist with assigned project, including basic analysis
- Cross train within the department for coverage & task diversification
- Make and reconcile filed staff travel
