Development Director

Overview:
Join our team at Schmitt Woodland Hills, a leading Skilled Nursing Facility in Richland Center, Wisconsin. We are seeking a passionate and experienced Development Director to drive our fundraising efforts and community engagement initiatives. As a Development Director, you will play a crucial role in securing resources to support our mission of providing exceptional care to our residents.

Duties:
- Plan and execute fundraising events, leveraging expertise in event planning and social media management to maximize outreach and participation.
- Conduct thorough research to identify potential donors, sponsors, and grant opportunities.
- Utilize strong negotiation skills to secure funding and partnerships that align with the organization's goals.
- Manage data collection processes to track donor information, contributions, and campaign effectiveness.
- Oversee grant writing activities, ensuring proposals are compelling and align with funding requirements.
- Utilize Salesforce or similar CRM tools to manage donor relationships and track fundraising progress.
- Collaborate with the team to develop marketing strategies that promote fundraising campaigns and increase community awareness.
- Lead volunteer management efforts, coordinating volunteer activities and recognizing their contributions to the organization.

Skills:
- Proven experience in event planning, data collection, negotiation, research, and social media management.
- Familiarity with Wills trusts estate law is a plus.
- Strong grant writing skills with a track record of successful grant acquisitions.
- Proficiency in Salesforce or similar CRM software for donor management.
- Ability to market fundraising campaigns effectively to diverse audiences.
- Experience in volunteer management, fostering positive relationships with volunteers.

Pay: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
