We are looking for an enthusiastic candidate with bartending skills to provide an excellent guest experience. Good bartenders will be able to master the menu, create classic drinks, and exceed customers’ needs and expectations. Compensation includes salary and tips.

Responsibilities

• Prepare restaurant tables and bar with special attention to sanitation and order
• Attend to customers upon entrance
• Present restaurant menus and help customers select food/beverages
• Interact with customers, take orders and serve food and drinks
• Answer questions or make recommendations for complementary products
• Collaborate with other restaurant servers and kitchen/bar staff
• Deal with complaints or problems with a positive attitude
• Prepare alcohol or non-alcohol beverages for bar and restaurant patrons
• Issue bills and accept payment
• Assess customers’ needs and preferences and make recommendations
• Restock and replenish inventory and supplies
• Stay guest focused and nurture an excellent guest experience
• Comply with all food and beverage regulations

Skills

• Proven restaurant experience in serving or bartending
• Excellent knowledge of mixing, garnishing and serving drinks
• Computer literacy
• Positive attitude and excellent communication skills
• Ability to keep the bar organized, stocked and clean
• TIPS certification preferred
• Food handlers certification preferred

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $3.89 - $4.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15 – 25 per week
