Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and customer-focused Server to join our team. As a key member of our restaurant, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional dining experiences to our guests. Responsibilities:
- Provide attentive and friendly service to guests, ensuring their dining experience is memorable and enjoyable.
- Manage and maintain the cleanliness of the dining area, including tables, chairs, and floors.
- Take orders and serve food and beverages in a timely and efficient manner.
- Handle cash and credit transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Maintain knowledge of menu items, ingredients, and allergens to assist guests with special dietary needs.
- Assist in inventory management, including ordering and receiving supplies.
- Work effectively as part of a team to achieve restaurant goals and objectives.
- Assist the kitchen staff with food preparation and plating as needed.
- Use Aloha POS to manage orders and inventory.
- Provide exceptional customer service and resolve any issues or concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
- Assist the Assistant Manager with managing kitchen operations and team members.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Prior experience in the food industry, preferably in a server or similar role.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Knowledge of inventory control and cash handling procedures.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time.
- Familiarity with Aloha POS and kitchen management software.
- Ability to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Physical stamina to handle the demands of the job.
- Ability to maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Experience in catering and team management is an asset.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $11.00 - $18.00 per hour
