Focus Ten Care is a family owned company that has several private preschool locations throughout Pasco and Pinellas County. We are growing rapidly and seeking a full-time, state qualified Director to lead one of our talented teams. We are seeking an individual who is energetic, organized, a problem solver, and possesses great communication skills. Mus be able to maintain great morale while addressing staffing development/ issues in a prompt and responsive manner. This individual needs to be passionate about early childhood education and dedicated to the success of our next generation. Partnering up with the parents helps our children build the right foundation for a bright future.

Focus Ten Care provides year-round programs for children from infant through school age

Desired skills and experience as outlined below:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education, Primary Education, or in related field-(REQUIRED)
• An Active FL Director Credential
• 3-5 years of Director experience in a licensed child care facility
• Strong background in state licensing regulations, staffing, enrollment and budget management
• Solid business acumen, management, analytical, and problem-thinking skills.
• A proven track record in hiring, developing and retaining staff
• Possess deep love for children and a strong commitment to building positive relationships with families and the community

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for overseeing all preschool operations including human resources, quality assurance and facility operations.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards of the children and staff.
• Manage local and state licensing regulations and ensure state compliance and record keeping.
• Manage staff scheduling to meet compliance standards.
• Enforce school policies and procedures.
• Coordinate annual registration process.
• Supervise and assist staff in enriching early childhood curriculum.
• Regularly monitor each classroom and provide ongoing feedback to teachers.
• Provide effective tours to potential families to drive enrollment.
• Assist the Business Manager with payroll processing while ensuring the accuracy of time keeping systems.
• Oversee the purchasing of supplies (including food), parent billings and collections.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $35,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
