Armed Security Officer Position Summary:
Valensec is searching for Armed security officers to work in WV school of Osteopathic Medicine located in Lewisburg WV. Qualified individuals should be able to withstand long hours patrolling the college campus on foot. Be able to wear a duty belt and wear a bullet proof vest. Applicant must pass a background check, drug test, and a physical fitness test. Law enforcement or military experience is a plus. Pay is 20.00-22.00 based on experience.
Minimum Qualifications:
•Must be a U.S. citizen
•Have a Social Security Card issued and approved by the Social Security Administration
•Be at least 21 years of age.
•Possess high school diploma from an accredited institution recognized by the U.S. Department of Education or equivalent certificate
•Speak English fluently, read and comprehend written English, and compose coherent written reports in English.
•And meet one of the following experience/education requirements:
•Two years of Armed security experience within the past five years; or
•Two years of military or National Guard (active duty or reserve) experience
•Pass the medical examination, drug test, and physical agility test if applicable;
•Completed the required training; and pass the required examination(s);
Licenses or Certifications:
•Driver"'s license, and
•Social security card or birth certificate, and
