Job Summary:

Growing law firm focusing on family law in ETX is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Associate Attorney to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will have experience in litigation, legal research, and legal drafting, particularly in family law in TX. As an Associate Attorney, you will work closely with senior attorneys to provide legal support and representation to our clients.

Duties:

- Conduct legal research using Westlaw

- Draft legal documents including pleadings, motions, and briefs

- Assist in case management and preparation for trial

- Attend court hearings and depositions

- Collaborate with senior attorneys to develop case strategies

- Negotiate settlements on behalf of clients

- Review and analyze legal documents and contracts

- Effectively use paralegal support

Requirements:

- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school

- Admission to the State Bar of Texas

- Strong research and writing skills

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills

Skills:

- Litigation experience a plus

- Proficiency in conducting legal research using Lexis-Nexis and Westlaw

- Familiarity with legal administrative tasks

- Strong writing skills for drafting legal documents

- Ability to negotiate effectively on behalf of clients
