Requirements

-B.S. in Social Work, Sociology, Psychology, Child & Family Studies, or related field

-Criminal background check (fingerprint, vulnerable person's registry, etc.)

-Experience working with impoverished children and families

-Experience and comfort with making home visits

-Strong written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills

-Valid Driver's License & ability to obtain Commercial Driver's License (CDL). Applicant to be at least 25 years of age (DOT requirement to obtain the CDL).

-Vehicle for work related travel

-Legally eligible to work in the US

-Case Management experience

-Experience in an early childhood classroom

Responsibilities

-Conducts planning activities and completes required documentation related to family/health services, center duties, and overall program needs

-Conducts and provides activities and services necessary for effective delivery of family and health services

-Conducts eligibility, recruitment, selection, enrollment, and attendance activities in compliance with Head Start regulations and local operational plans and procedures to assist in reaching and maintaining full enrollment

-Communicates, coordinates, and integrates effectively with staff, parents, and community representatives, and fulfills center duties to meet overall program goals for children and family service delivery
