East-Tek Security Systems is Hiring a Fire Alarm Technician Near Rock Hill, NY

East-Tek Security Systems is looking for an experienced and responsible Alarm Installation Technician to add to our growing team.

Required Skills Include:

-Intermediate to expert level of knowledge of security, surveillance, fire alarm equipment, and rough wiring (3 years of experience is preferred, but we are willing to train)

-Intermediate level of low voltage electrical knowledge/experience

-Ability to work independently and with a team

-Great customer service skills

Other Requirements:

-Have a High School Diploma (or Equivalent)

-Have a clean driving record

-Be willing to submit a set of digital fingerprints to New York State immediately upon hiring, as required under NYS Fire Alarm Installer Licensing Law (expense for this is covered by East-Tek)

Schedule:

Full Time: Monday – Friday, 8 am to 5 pm

Compensation: Hourly (Starting range of $18 - $24 and dependent on experience)

Benefits:

-40 hours of paid sick time per year

-40 hours of paid vacation time per year (available for use after 1 year of employment)

-401k eligibility after 6 months of employment (with employer match up to 4% of annual salary)

Location:

Our office is located in Rock Hill, NY. You are responsible for transportation to the office, but travel to and from various job sites will be done in company vehicles.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
