St. Vrain Sanitation District is a growing district that provides sanitary sewer service to over 15,000 business and residential customer accounts in Firestone, CO and surrounding areas.

Our district serves the City of Dacono, the towns of Firestone and Frederick, portions of Mead, and areas of Weld County.

We are committed to meeting the needs of our community by providing reliable wastewater services.

Role Description

This role requires on-site work in Firestone, CO.

Qualifications

  • Experience in plant operations, water treatment, wastewater treatment, process control, and pump station maintenance
  • Knowledge of state and federal regulations related to wastewater treatment
  • Attention to detail and the ability to identify and troubleshoot operational issues
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong problem-solving abilities
  • Certifications in wastewater treatment or related fields are preferred
  • High school diploma or equivalent
