Safety Manager Assistant

Kenyon Plastering is a Scaffold/Lath/Stucco Subcontractor located in San Marcos , CA. We are looking for a full time safety manager assistant to help maintain and implement our company’s safety policies both in the office as well as out on our job sites.

Duties:

• Duties will vary on a daily basis but may include:

Process initial new-hire and safety training new employees

Maintain & file reporting documentation

Assisting with Site inspections and documentation

Understanding and enforcing safety guidelines & procedures

Assist with accident management & prevention

Must be able to work independently as well as within a team

Requirements:

• Bilingual – English and Spanish Required
• Physically and mentally capable to climb scaffold regularly
• Good communication skills – Ability to communicate both orally and written
• Good recordkeeping abilities – The construction safety manager assistant must be able to maintain good records of all safety related activities
• Knowledge of general construction
• Must have a valid/clear California Driver’s License

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $23.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
