Extra Mile Fitness Company is an independently owned and operated running specialty shoe store. We have been operating in Valparaiso for over 12 years. Our customers anticipate a personalized shoe fitting experience from a knowledgeable team member.

We are looking for an energetic, helpful, self motivated individuals to fill our weekend/some weekdays shoe fitter position.

Ideal candidates skill sets:

• A love for helping people
• Ability to converse with a diverse population
• Ability to operate a POS system
• Ability to learn 10 brands of footwear with over 70 models
• Ability to understand gait both walking and running
• Ability to work as a member of a team
• Ability to work in a fast pace environment while paying close attention to customers
• Ability to climb a ladder and lift 20 pounds
• Ability to stand on feet for 8 hours
• Previous retail experience

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 12 – 20 per week
