Aucocisco School and Learning Center is Freeport, ME is searching for dynamic and intelligent individuals to work as part-time reading and/or math tutors during a five week summer program.

Role description:

Aucocisco is looking for part-time reading and math tutors for the summer of

2024 during a 5-week period. Tutors will participate in a week-long paid training from June 24th - June 28th. During the summer program, tutors will arrive around 7:45 am, greet students

and then do 1-hour tutoring sessions from 8am to 12:15pm.

Hours:

• Part Time – 7:45 am to 12:45pm
• M-F from June 24th- August 9th, 2024

Qualifications

• Available to work 7:45 am- 12:30 pm M-F from June 24th- August 9th, 2024
• Have experience as a camp counselor, babysitter, or other work with children
• Have attended at least 2 years of college-level education or have obtained 60 or
• more credits
• Do well in a highly structured and fast-paced environment
• Responsibilities
• Following the specific steps of the programs taught as designated by the school
• Acting in a professional and positive manner with students, parents, and faculty
• Working with students of various ages on a one-to-one or small-group basis
• Passing background check as required by the Maine Department of Education
