Job Description: We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Rental Operations Assistant to support our Rental Director in managing various aspects of rental properties. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in rental policies and procedures, experience with lease preparations, and excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities:

• Knowledge and experience with rental policies and procedures.
• Experience in preparing leases and overseeing sign-to-rent procedures.
• Maintain active communication with the Rental Director and tenants to address inquiries and concerns promptly.
• In-depth knowledge and experience with California Rental Laws and regulations.
• Proficiency in dealing with Section 8 housing regulations.
• Handle rental property registrations with cities to ensure compliance with local requirements.
• Support in eviction processes by gathering evidence and compiling files for legal proceedings in coordination with lawyers and the Rental Director.
• Assist in creating notices for rental and Airbnb teams.
• Support the Rental Director in managing lawsuits related to rental properties.
• Assist in providing relocation assistance and implementing 'Cash For Keys' programs.

Qualifications:

• Experience in rental property management or similar roles.

• Strong knowledge of rental laws, regulations, and procedures, especially in California.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Willing to learn and practice skills learn in a day to day basis.
