Carroll Mechanical is Hiring a HVAC Service Technician Near Towson, MD
We are seeking a skilled HVAC Service Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience installing, repairing, and maintaining residential air conditioners, furnaces, and heat pumps.
As a service tech, you will complete HVAC jobs in the field under the supervision of the Master HVAC Contractor. Candidates who pass the initial training and evaluation period will receive a company truck, HVAC equipment, gas card, uniform, and a team of helpers.
Pay
- Hourly base rate based on experience
- Overtime at 1.5x after 40 hours in a week
- Bonuses based on individual and company performance
Responsibilities
- Install new HVAC systems
- Diagnose faulty HVAC systems
- Perform routine maintenance
- Maintain customer relationships
Expectations
- Respond to service calls in a timely manner
- Diagnose and make repairs with accuracy and efficiency
- Ensure good working order of company truck and equipment
Qualifications
- Maryland HVAC license
- EPA 608 certification
- At least three years of HVAC experience
- Experience with residential and light commercial HVAC systems, including heat pumps, straight-cool AC units, furnaces, ductless mini-splits, packaged units, and residential boilers
- Valid driver's license and the ability to drive up to 1 hour each way on a regular basis
- Strong technical understanding of HVAC systems with a demonstrable ability to think critically and problem-solve
- Comfort with modern communications and scheduling technology
- Ability to communicate and build trusting relationships with customers
- Native or professional working proficiency in English
- Work authorized in the United States
