Job Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and friendly Breakfast Attendant to join our team. As a Breakfast Attendant, you will be responsible for ensuring that our guests have a pleasant dining experience by providing exceptional customer service and maintaining a clean and organized breakfast area. Responsibilities:
- Set up the breakfast area before guests arrive, ensuring that all food items are properly displayed and replenished as needed
- Greet guests in a warm and friendly manner, assisting them with any questions or special requests
- Prepare and serve food items such as hot/cold beverages, pastries, cereals, and fruits
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the breakfast area, including wiping tables, cleaning spills, and restocking supplies
- Monitor food inventory levels and communicate any shortages or discrepancies to the supervisor, Adhere to all food safety regulations and guidelines during food preparation and service
- Assist with catering events or special functions as needed
- Ensure compliance with hotel policies and procedures at all times
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a similar role or in the food service industry is preferred but not required
- Knowledge of basic food preparation techniques and kitchen equipment is a plus
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to interact professionally with guests
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Please note that this position may require standing for long periods of time and lifting up to 25 pounds. Additionally, candidates must be able to pass a background check.
