The UPS Store in Delafield is hiring for Full-Time, Part-Time, and Seasonal Help for all hours of operation described below.

$250 Hiring bonus after 6 months employment and certified training completion.

Job Types

• Full-Time / Hourly (32-40 hrs.)
• Part-Time / Hourly (8-32 hrs.
• Seasonal / Hourly (8-32hrs.)

Hours of Store Operations : Monday to Friday : 8 AM to 6 : 30 PM, Saturday : 9 AM to 2 : 30 PM, Sunday : 10 AM to 3 PM. Some weekend shift(s) required.

Pay Range

• Center Associate in Training : $14.50 to $16.50 based on previous experience, (480 hour term)
• Center Associates : $15.50 to $18.50 based on specialized retail proficiency and performance after 480 hours worked.

Pay Frequency : Bi-monthly through direct deposit.

As a Center Associate in Training, you will have the chance to challenge yourself in learning and becoming proficient in many aspects of The UPS Store.

Full-time Associates in Training spend the first three months, while part-time associates spend the first 480 hours on hands on training.

Training is delivered by our team, as well as you having access to a Learning Center that will help refine your knowledge of a variety of services we offer.

After the successful completion of the training period, you will qualify for an hourly pay increase.

As you continue to gain proficiency and qualifications in our specialized retail environment, additional hourly pay increases are awarded.

Both ull-time and part-time team members also can earn bonuses and incentives based on the performance of the entire team.

The ideal candidate should have previous retail experience, strong computer and internet skills, and a high school diploma / GED.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Deliver an exceptional experience to our customers, coworkers, vendors, and community.
• Continuously practices good listening skills with customers, coworkers, and vendors.
• Take ownership of the customer's needs by offering solutions while not being afraid to ask coworkers for help.
• At times, need to empathize and manage demanding and impatient customers while maintaining decorum and turning a potentially stressful situation into a positive exchange.
• Operate all equipment, software, and devices.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment.
• Process shipping transactions including accurately filling out domestic and international electronic shipping forms.
• Package shipments for safe arrival, including assembling boxes, building custom boxes, and properly cushioning contents according to The UPS Store packaging guidelines and Pack & Ship Guarantee.
• Process retail sales and product returns, such as Amazon returns, among other types of returns for third party companies.
• Attend to customer needs associated with in-bound package and mail delivery, shredding services, passport photos, printing orders and notary services.
• Perform general housekeeping duties assigned to the entire team.
• Shows up promptly and reliably for all shifts.

Qualifications and Skills

• Retail / Customer Service experience desired.
• Good people skills, genuine helpful demeanor, fun and friendly personality a plus.
• English language proficiency and good verbal communication skills required.
• Accurate written skills including spelling and basic math including addition, subtraction and multiplication needed.
• Ability to lift 10-pound boxes frequently and lift 40 pounds occasionally.
• Ability to work at a quick pace when needed, regularly stand for several hours, and walk with packages in hand.
• A professional appearance including being well groomed and appropriately dressed according to The UPS Store uniform standard.
