Role Description

This is a part-time role with hybrid potential as a Marketing & Events Intern at Larkins Catering & Events. As the Marketing & Events Intern, you will assist in planning and executing marketing campaigns and assisting with event details. Your responsibilities will include conducting market research, creating marketing materials, coordinating event logistics, and providing general support to the marketing and events team. This role is based in Greenville, SC, but offers flexibility for some remote work.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a relevant degree program (e.g., Marketing, Event Management, Communications, Hospitality & Tourism)
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Proficiency in social media platforms
• Basic understanding of marketing principles and event planning
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn
• Flexible schedule including some weekend availability

Experience with graphic design software, content creation tools, and previous marketing or events experience is a plus.
