ECUTEC works only the day shift and is air conditioned. Due to growth, ECUTEC seeks a qualified Inspector. *Candidate: *An ideal candidate will have expertise in measuring tools such as micrometers, calipers, thickness gauges etc, have a quality focus, be agile with computers in order to ensure the product meets drawing requirements and fill out inspection reports. Responsibilities • Accurately inspect parts to meet drawing tolerances along with knowledge of the proper use of all measuring equipment. Accurately elaborate inspection certificates. • Convey quality standards to all shop employees. • Coordinate with the team on any ongoing projects in process • Operate laser engraver to mark finished product • Helps to keep the shop clean and organized • Maintain a safe, positive, and productive work environment • Help with inventory duties Knowledge, Skills and Abilities • Agile with manual measurement tools such as micrometers, calipers and digital comparators. • Positive can-do attitude • Strong communication and interpersonal skills • Working knowledge of Microsoft products like Word, Excel and basic PowerPoint • Ability to occasionally lift objects of up to 50lbs • Focused on quality and results oriented • Ability to juggle multiple projects at the same time while completing fast and accurate deliverables Optional Skills and Abilities • Ability to machines parts on lathe and mill per a drawing • Operate various EDM equipment (Sinker and wire EDM – will train) • Program and operate CNC milling machines and lathes (desired, but not necessary) • Basic AutoCAD or Inventor would be a plus • Understanding of eddy current and UT methods a plus • Understanding of quality programs BENEFITS • Air conditioned shop • Health care, dental and vision • 401k with company matching • Paid vacation • Paid Time Off (after qualifying period) Schedule and Salary • 8:00am to 4:30pm • To commensurate with experience ECUTEC is equal opportunity employer.
