Redeux is executing a multi-market development plan, working with landowners to enhance their property value with clean energy solutions that can be co-located with existing resource extraction, ranching, farming, and timber operations. In addition to traditional “greenfield” project development, Redeux targets brownfield redevelopment opportunities to transition fossil to clean-energy solutions that utilize existing infrastructure and reduce the liabilities of legacy operations.

Position ResponsibilitiesThe Land Analyst will work to develop a portfolio of large-scale solar PV and battery storage solutions from project origination to the commencement of construction in the United States. This role reports to the Senior Manager of Land Compliance. This role can be based at Redeux Energy’s headquarters in Denver, CO or open to the right remote candidate.
  • Build and maintain geospatial data libraries using GIS software and other land applications to target parcels, utility details, and local and county planning and zoning information.
  • Perform spatial analyses to assess site constructability issues (e.g., soils, geology, slope, hydro).
  • Collaborate with development team to analyze properties in target markets, identify business unit needs and develop GIS solutions to address those needs and concerns.
  • Coordinate integration of GIS tools and techniques to existing and future software applications through Application Programming Interfaces.
  • Supports efforts of Land team to secure contractual arrangements for site control.
  • Participates in permitting and site use processes, including city and county government relations.
  • Other responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications
  • 1-3 years’ experience conducting geospatial analyses, applied to large-scale infrastructure project development.
  • Experience with solar development, including interconnection and transmission line land siting strongly preferred.
  • Proficiency in ESRI ArcGIS (specifically ArcGIS Pro and ArcGIS Field Maps), QGIS, Python, Spatial Analyst, ModelBuilder or similar tools are preferred.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and work collaboratively with numerous internal subject matter experts, external consultants, and local community stakeholders.
  • Strong critical thinking skills and ability to handle multiple assignments on a timely basis with a high degree of accuracy.
  • Travel as needed (~15%).
  • Bachelor’s degree (Geography, Planning, GIS, Computer Science, Civil Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related field preferred) or experience equivalent.
