We are working with a State of Michigan to support LEO E & T workforce development applications, One Stop Management Information System (OSMIS), OSMIS Dashboard, Career Explorer, Michigan Adult Education Reporting System (MAERS) and Information Management, Performance, and Customer Tracking (IMPACT).

What you'll be doing

• Gathering requirements, analyzing/improving business processes, managing requirements, and conducting software testing
• Assessing current and future processes, documenting gaps, and collecting end-user requirements for business process and software improvement
• Segmenting similar requirements and creating additional ones that address client pain points
• Maintaining up-to-date requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, test plans, and running reports to inform management discussions
• Facilitating planning and requirements meetings, understanding and creating solutions to improve user experience, and supporting agile product development
• Collaborating with the product development team to translate requirements into technical specifications for the proposed solution

The right person has

• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a System/Business Analyst conducting Joint Application Design (JAD) sessions with customers and gathering requirements
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in software testing
• Minimum of 1 year of RDBMS / SQL experience
• Preferred experience in Agile/Scrum
• Experience in SAP BO is a plus
• Need candidates local to Lansing, MI
