Overview:
We are seeking a friendly and OUTGOING individual to join our team as a Host/Hostess. As a Host/Hostess, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing exceptional customer service and creating a welcoming atmosphere. This is an important role in ensuring a positive dining experience for our guests.
Duties:
- Greet guests with a warm and friendly smile upon arrival
- Escort guests to their tables and present menus
-Set up tables for reservations prior to guests arriving
- Provide accurate wait times and manage the waitlist
- Answer phone calls and assist with reservations
- Assist servers with seating arrangements and table turnovers
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host/host station
- Communicate effectively with guests, servers, and kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations
Requirements:
- Strong guest service skills with the ability to provide exceptional hospitality
- Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced restaurant environment
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 25 pounds
- Knowledge of food service industry practices and procedures is a plus
- Hospitality or hotel experience is a plus
