• Locala is looking for a Chief Finance Officer in charge of Finance, Procurement and Legal teams.
  Reporting to the CEO, the CFO Business Partner stands out for their pivotal role in the strategic transformation of the company, going beyond the technical mastery of numbers to embrace a holistic strategic vision. As an essential employee, they actively participate in the growth of the company, driving innovation and transformation. They are not just the guardian of finance, but a visionary and operational strategist involved in all decision-making spheres.
  Their role extends well beyond accounting and cash management, moving towards more forward-looking and strategic management. With increased emphasis on communication, Locala’s CFO must be multilingual and open to the world, interacting with a multitude of external partners such as investors, banks, customers and suppliers.
  Finally, a thorough understanding of the world of advertising and technological issues is crucial, its business being directly influenced by rapid market developments.
  As the head of a team of 8 people, the CFO will be in charge of the following missions:
• Propose and execute the company’s financial strategy, in alignment with the company’s short- and long-term objectives and ensures that risk-taking is balanced and considered in strategic decisions.
• Oversees financial planning, budgets, forecasting, and financial performance analysis.
• Implement a measure of value added by the company.
• Ensure compliance with tax, accounting and legal obligations.
• Oversee and ensure proper management of cash, accounting and financial risk control.
• Communicate transparently and effectively with investors to maintain their trust.
• Administratively oversee subsidiaries in their closing work.
• Actively participate in development initiatives such as fundraising, external growth, mergers and acquisitions.
• Assist investment projects, increase their profitability and optimize the company’s capital.
• Supervise the Senior Legal Manager and the Procurement Director throughout their missions.

Skills required:

• Degree in finance, accounting, or related field. An MBA or professional qualification is highly preferred.
• 12-15 years of experience in top financial roles in the Adtech or Technology sector. International experience is required.
• Successful experience in management.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively at all levels of the organization.
• Entrepreneurial spirit with a strong ability to work in a fast and ever-changing environment.
• Ability to understand technological issues
• Bilingual English and French.
• Ability to manage change by assessing the impact of projects and adapting financial practices and tools (Netsuite) to optimize internal processes.
