Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and passionate Registered Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic team. As a vital member of our practice, you will play a key role in promoting oral health and preventing dental diseases through patient education and professional dental hygiene services.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive dental hygiene assessments, including oral health screenings, charting, and periodontal evaluations.
  • Perform thorough dental cleanings to remove calculus, plaque, and stains from teeth and beneath the gum line.
  • Administer local anesthesia and dental hygiene medications as prescribed by the dentist.
  • Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques, including brushing, flossing, and nutritional counseling.
  • Take digital dental X-rays and assist the dentist in various dental procedures as needed.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with all infection control protocols and regulatory standards.

Qualifications:

  • Graduate of an accredited dental hygiene program.
  • Current state licensure as a Registered Dental Hygienist.
  • CPR certification.
  • Proficiency in using dental software for charting and scheduling (e.g., Dentrix, Eaglesoft).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to providing compassionate care to patients of all ages.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while prioritizing patient comfort and safety.
