Drill Laborer

Compensation: Competitive hourly wage – based on experience

Employment Type: Contract / Full-Time

WANTED: Drill Laborer/Helper for projects in the Fairbanks region for the 2024 season. We work 12 hour shifts, 6 days a week, with flexible time off (depending on length of contract). The work is sometimes remote. Experience in Environmental, Geotechnical and Exploration drilling is a plus.

Job Description: Help operate and maintain drill rig. Catalogue and process core samples. help with well installs and water sampling. Decontaminate equipment. Handle drill cuttings and water. Daily inspections and reporting of equipment condition. Assistance with mobilization between job sites. Maintain safe work habits.

Job Requirements:
-Mechanical experience is a plus

-Geological training or experience is a plus

-Due to demanding physical job requirements, applicant must be physically fit and willing to work in all weather conditions

-Must be reliable and consistently show a willingness to work throughout the season

-Must be prepared to live and work in a remote camp environment

-CDL or Class 1 driver’s license preferred.

-Camp Lodging and Food will be provided for out of town work

-Background checks and drug tests required
