Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Embroidery Machine Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining embroidery machines, ensuring high-quality and precise embroidery on various materials. The Embroidery Machine Operator will collaborate with the production team to meet daily production targets while maintaining a keen eye for detail and quality control.

Responsibilities:

• Machine Operation:

- Set up and operate embroidery machines to produce high-quality embroidered products.

- Load and unload materials onto embroidery machines, ensuring proper alignment and tension.

- Monitor machine operation to detect any issues and make adjustments as necessary.

• Material Preparation:

- Prepare materials for embroidery, including selecting appropriate threads and backing materials.

- Ensure that the materials are properly hooped and secured before initiating the embroidery process.

• Quality Control:

- Inspect finished products for quality and accuracy, identifying and addressing any defects or inconsistencies.

- Monitor and maintain consistent thread tension and color throughout the production process.

• Maintenance:

- Perform routine maintenance on embroidery machines, including cleaning, oiling, and replacing needles.

- Troubleshoot and resolve minor machine malfunctions promptly.

• Production Targets:

- Collaborate with the production team to achieve daily and weekly production goals.

- Communicate any issues that may affect production timelines to the supervisor.

• Record Keeping:

- Maintain accurate production records, including the number of finished products, machine settings, and any issues encountered during production.

• Safety Compliance:

- Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.

Report any safety concerns or incidents to the supervisor.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as an Embroidery Machine Operator or similar role.
• Knowledge of embroidery machine operations and maintenance.
• Ability to interpret and follow design specifications and instructions.
• Attention to detail and a strong focus on quality control.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot machine issues.
• Physical stamina and the ability to stand for extended periods.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Basic computer skills for machine programming and data entry.

Pay: $19.00 - $25.00 per hour
