Beyond Behavior ABA Services is Hiring a (BCBA) Board Certified Behavioral Analyst Near Council, IA

Reporting to: Director of ABA Services

Role Statement:

Responsible for working with management to identify specific applied behavior analysis practices to implement, and identify any additional evidence-based practice deemed appropriate for the delivery or personalized, high-quality ABA services. Role will audit the provision of ABA services, audit the clinical documentation of ABA services, contribute to the development & growth of the ABA Program and will maintain a clinical caseload of their own. For their caseload, they will provide direct service and consultation, provide supervision to staff, conduct assessments, and train parents and caregivers.

Salary Range:

  • $5,000 sign on bonus
  • $65,000-$80,000 based upon experience.
  • Caseload depends upon experience and client programming.

Responsibilities:

  • Identify and communicate professional and clinical training needs of employees providing ABA services; reporting directly to the clinic supervisor
  • Work as part of the team to develop policies, procedures and systems for clinical service delivery within Beyond Behavior ABA Services
  • Conduct research and stay up-to-date on related legislation and policy at the state and national level
  • Oversee hiring and staff management of clinic employees
  • Provide Behavior Technician/RBT's with training or coaching needed for timely completion of high quality clinical service documentation
  • Responsible for audit and approval of clinical service documentation completed by BT/RBT's in a timely manner; ensuring all requirements are met for any provided ABA services
  • Maintain HIPAA and all necessary confidentiality standards
  • Attend meetings as needed; including Clinical, Management, Training or One on One with upper level management
  • Communicate professionally with employees, clients, and the general public
  • Maintain professional ethics and behaviors with employees, clients and the general public
  • Maintain a strict level of employee/supervisor confidentiality
  • Provide BCBA services in-clinic and/or in-home; Caseload may be smaller or decrease as an employee has increased supervisory responsibilities; however, all BCBA's will have a minimum client caseload
  • Direction of RBT’s in implementation of client treatment
  • Maintain a minimum caseload of 25 direct billable hours per week after initial 90 days
  • Must give two months’ notice when resigning
  • All other duties as assigned by your direct supervisor

Requirements:

  • Hold a Master's degree from an accredited college or university in social work, psychology, behavior analysis, or a related field
  • Hold current BCBA certification and the ability to maintain certification
  • Must have at least 2 years of post-graduate experience providing ABA services and assessment as a BCBA (3-5 years previous provision of ABA services as a behavior technician or behavior specialist preferred)
  • Must be willing and able to commute to clinic(s) as needed for caseload
  • Knowledge and experience in the provision of ABA services, delivery practices and regulations
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize work in an organized manner to meet necessary deadlines
  • Ability to communicate and engage in a professional, timely and respectful manner
  • Strong professional and ethical business representation and performance
  • Clinical experience with children, adolescents, and families
  • Experience conducting behavioral and developmental assessments (VB-MAPPS, ABLLS, FBAs)
  • Computer competency (EHR functions; Google Workspace and data collection software)
  • Have the ability to travel to all Beyond Behavior ABA Services locations and potential locations for meetings and/or client needs
  • Must have the ability to appropriately respond to physically and emotionally challenging behavioral problems, client behavioral or emotional crisis and other emergency situations (includes the physical ability to become trained in the implementation of crisis response, QBS Safety Care and de-escalation procedures)
  • Leadership Function: Team oriented, shows ability to model and demonstrate skills delivered to clients, shows patience and understanding for clients and employees alike, demonstrates ability to follow appropriate boundary guidelines, able to conduct themselves in such a manner that their activities, both personal and official, will not discredit Beyond Behavior ABA Services
